About Lauren
Lauren holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design and spent nearly a decade working in high-street fashion design before deciding to pursue a new path. Currently studying for an MA in Fashion, she is shifting her focus from designing for large corporations to fostering creativity and community engagement. After experiencing burnout and a loss of motivation in the industry, she became passionate about creating spaces where people can reconnect with their creativity and well-being. Deeply proud of her Welsh heritage, Lauren is committed to living and working in Wales, using her skills to support and enrich her local community.
About Veronika
Veronika is passionate about the healing power of craft and its role in sustainable living. She encourages people to slow down and consider where their clothes come from, who made them, how, and why. With a background in communications and project management, she has worked extensively to promote the beauty and value of traditional skills. In the Czech Republic, she helped launch initiatives like Fashion Talk and Fashion Business Workshops. Now based on Merseyside, Veronika continues her creative journey through community projects, including her radio show Through the Bohemian Looking Glass on Wirral Wave.

About Cathy
Cathy is deeply connected to heritage, sustainability, and the full soil-to-soil journey of textiles. Through her practice, she celebrates traditional craft and its impact on wellbeing, encouraging others to keep these skills alive. Often beginning with raw fleece, she lovingly works through each stage, dyeing, spinning, weaving, knitting, and embroidering, transforming fibre into something beautiful and lasting. Trading as Lazykate Textiles, Cathy shares her love of colour, texture and making through in-person and online workshops in spinning, dyeing, and weaving. Her aim is simple: to inspire others to slow down, create, and reconnect through craft.
