A little recap of the few weeks since my last post as February was extremely hectic and I haven't managed to keep up with these blog posts
Week twenty two - I had a spa retreat with my new job which I am not complaining about, it was an overnight stay in the Yorkshire Dales and we did a lot of relaxing yoga which was absolutely lovely! Then on the weekend I went to my first Wardrobe Talk hosted by Veronika which was all about sustainability, it was very interesting and gave me good insight into how it would be when we host our own Wardrobe Talk in March
Week twenty three - This week we had a group chat with John to discuss where we are up to with our project. I said that I have only created the website and now I am awaiting a chat with Jo from Ty Pawb, but I feel the imposter syndrome creeping in and I am feeling unsure of what I have to offer. So, I know I need to focus a bit more on that give that module the time and effort it is needed. On Tuesday I had a one to one with Louise and then in the afternoon I handed in my draft submission for my dissertation. It is going well but I am struggling with the lit review, I think I just got in my own head and felt overwhelmed so I am looking forward for the feedback in a couple of weeks time. I decided to make an action plan for my studio practice because I haven't really looked at anything since before Christmas and I want to make sure I get up to where I need to with this before I start FMP. Although as I continue with dissertation, it feels like my FMP may change, but I am going to continue as planned and then see how transdisciplinary practice goes because as I said, it may all change.
Week twenty four - This week is self directed study week and as usual, I didn't manage to keep on track with what I had planned to do these past 2 weeks so I am spending the beginning of the week focusing on those tasks, Wednesday I am going to work on my sketchbook and then on Thursday I am going to Kitty's Laundrette for a talk with John and then Friday I will spend the day in uni focusing on print making for my Eisteddfod submission at the end of March. On the weekend I am going away in my new roof tent to Powys so hope to go and visit some workshops that I have been researching but I will see what time I have.
