Thoughts, Feelings and Analysis
It has been a very busy week this week, I have been focusing on getting my weave completed in time for the learners Eisteddfod which has been good actually, I think I needed that deadline to get me on track to do something creative and finish it! I ended up coming third which was great but they judged me in the wrong category, but a win is a win haha. After the Eisteddfod I wanted to go to a gallery space that I'd seen on instagram and ended up chatting to the people who own it called Chloe and Ryan. They we're really lovely and I chatted to them about wanting to have my own studio space in which they recommended I come to Stiwdio Olivet next weekend where there is a cyanotype workshop being held in Welsh. It's funny because that's where my printing practice has taken me recently so it makes perfect sense! I'm really looking forward to seeing the space and hopefully be able to use either the community space or have my own studio if a place opens up.
I spent a lot of the week focusing on my dissertation and getting my primary research in motion. I have an interview booked in with Anthony (Veronika's Husband) to discuss Social Prescribing which I need to get some interview questions prepared for so I can talk through them with Louise. I have also started to plan my focus group which I will hold in a weeks time so need to prepare for that too.
Regarding my Transdisciplinary project, I have started to make a powerpoint with all the research and work I have done so far. I feel like I have done a lot of work in preparation for this project and it would be nice if that could be recognised and marked. So, a simple powerpoint/pinterest board for now will suffice to add into my Project Evidence section. I will make it look much better for the submission but it's needed to get it down on paper as a start.
